Sustaining a Culture of Civility

From the #metoo movement to demonstrations of violence in the workplace leading to loss of life, it has become apparent that workplaces are struggling to remain civil.

In 2016, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) stated that harassment in the workplace will not stop on its own… it’s on all of us to be part of the fight to stop workplace harassment. We cannot be complacent bystanders and expect our workplace cultures to change themselves…”  In the same 2016 report the EEOC recommended that workplaces consider civility training, sharing that, “Civility training that promotes respect and civility in the workplace, not only a focus on eliminating illegal harassment.”

In this training series, Dr. Simon Walters helps you tailor a strategy that will move your workplace from one that tolerates incivility to one where employees are fully engaged and contributing innovative ideas that positively impact your bottom line.

Transformational Leadership

Transformational leadership is defined as "a leadership approach that causes change in individuals and social systems.”  The impact of transformational leadership reaches every level of an organization.

If you want an organization that encourages, inspires, and supports a culture of creativity, practicing the 4i’s of transformational leadership may hold the answer.

Let me take you through these principles and demonstrate how you can turn your organization into one that is on the cutting edge of innovation consistently outperforming your competitors.
